Beer Luff Among Greek Islands

Imagine beer beer among beautiful Greek islands. With a ferry pass, you choose which islands you want to visit, jump from island to island and enjoy freedom, sun, beach and water. A fun bike excursion and two nights in Athens are also included!

The journey begins in the Greek capital Athens, where the wings of history are felt in every street corner. Athens is so much more than the Acropolis, the Parthenon and Monasteraki Square – we have therefore included a bike ride on the city’s small streets and to the places only the locals come. With a ferry pass in hand, you are ready to explore some of Greece’s most amazing islands, the pass is valid for one month and is valid for five of the most beautiful islands in the Greek island world. You decide which islands you want to visit and how long you want to spend there – of course we can help book accommodation on the islands you want to visit. Enjoy one paradise island after another, the beautiful white and blue painted houses, eat delicious food and embrace the relaxed lifestyle of the Greeks.

Best travel period

Southern Greece and the islands have a subtropical Mediterranean climate that promises hot and dry summers with scorching sun. The wind from the sea makes the heat comfortable in the coastal areas, but if you do not appreciate high temperatures and prefer a little less people, perhaps the mild spring and autumn months may be better suited. Our recommendations for the best travel time to Greece are based on how the climate has been in previous years.

Day 1: Departure from Scandinavia and arrival in Greece

Departure from Scandinavia towards Athens where you will arrive on the same day. From the airport you take a taxi to your accommodation and then have the rest of the day on your own to explore the city. We recommend that you visit the famous Acropolis with its stunning views of Athens, or walk to the picturesque district of Plaka. Take a break from the sun at a tavern with cheap gyros, fresh feta cheese, spicy souvlaki, creamy tzatziki and juicy kalamata olives.

Day 2: Bike ride in Athens

Today you join an exciting bike ride through the city’s graffiti-painted back streets and hidden corners – areas in Athens where only the locals come. On this excursion you avoid the large crowds and you get to experience the districts where the local Athenians create the city’s modern, alternative culture. Drink coffee at a local café and take the opportunity to buy souvenirs that few other travelers bring home.

Day 3: Beer luff on your own

The best place to start your beer luff and your travel adventure is from the port of Piraeus in Athens. The journey here from the center of Athens takes about 2 hours, and from here ferries go out to many of the Greek islands. It includes a ferry to five different islands and you choose which of the 55 available islands you want to visit. If you want to visit more islands, you can buy more. The ferries must be booked in advance before you arrive at the port so you do not risk a fully booked departure. Accommodation on the islands is your own responsibility, but we can of course help you pre-book hotels for all or part of the nights. Suggestions for popular routes are:
